A Glorious Family Honeymoon
Well our glorious family honeymoon is ending today. It is an amazing experience to be able to spend six weeks together as a family without the pressures of a normal schedule. I'm so thankful that the needs of adoptive parents have been recognized by employers, allowing the same bonding period for adoption as allowed in a maternity leave. We've been able to work out a nap schedule, watch her play habits develop, and see Tian learn so many things... like crawling just yesterday. But most of all we have experienced the bonding of a forever family. There isn't one thing I would want to change about our trip to China or the weeks since we returned home. Tian is an absolute joy to have in the room - what a precious sprout from heaven!
We'll try to continue posting pictures - but don't bother checking daily! It's going to be tough for awhile. Steve is going to try to add the "pre-Tian" blogs from the old website since people have been interested in how all of this came to be.
